Coach Lino Sabaz is excited to introduce this year’s Thunderhawks Men’s Indoor Soccer team:

John Mauro, Patrick Mauro, Nick Lopez, Jon DeGrazia, Dom Commisso, Dan Kincaid, Randy Delamorandiere, Sherard Eno, Cinna Sidibe, Dustin Boucha, Neil McCart and Aaron Picard.

Competition Schedule:  Team will play weekly in the Sports Dome Men’s City League.  The league usually runs form early October to late March.    A team of 13 athletes and coach will travel to compete at the OCAA Regional Indoor Soccer Championships.  The Championships will play on March 6th, 2012 hosted by Conestoga College and held at the OSA Centre in Vaughan, ON.

Coach Lino Sabaz

With over 40 years of coaching experience, numerous championships, and appearances in senior soccer national and international competition, Lino brings a wealth of knowledge to the game of soccer.  As a NCCP Level 3 coach, his approach of “firm, fair and then friends’ coaching philosophy has served him well and has garnered him high respect within the soccer community. 

His hard work, discipline and team first approach is what you will expect as it has been Lino’s recipe for success.  He has
coached teams in the World Juniors, had multiple appearances in the Ontario Cup, as well as invitations to tournaments in  Minneapolis and Winnipeg.

Lino doesn’t only measure his successes with trophies, but more importantly the friendships he has gained over the many years.

Coaching at the Varsity level is another new challenge Lino looks forward to.
